I’m Boo. No, it isn’t my legal name, but by the time you hear “Rebecca Cardozo-Pfeiffer, JD, MPH,” do you even care? Exactly. So, I’m Boo. Like Cher. Or Madonna. Except, I cannot carry a tune.
I can, however, teach Pilates to anyone. I have taught Pilates and mindfulness for nearly 25 years to students from ages 5 to 95, in and out of the water, on and off equipment, with and without props, and have certified instructors worldwide in my Poolates® method.
Through Great Lakes Pilates & Wellness I offer Pilates, Reiki, MFR, acupressure, mindfulness & performance coaching and CBT worldwide from my homelike virtual studio. I also offer in person outdoor, in-home studio and on location sessions in Nashville, TN. (Other locations available on request). In addition to my certifications in Pilates, personal training, spin, Reiki, mindfulness, (CBT, acupressure and MFR-pending), I also hold degrees in law and Public Health from the George Washington University, and I am a certified mediator as well, always helping people achieve harmony within themselves and with others.
As a business owner, mother, caregiver and teacher, I am well aware of life’s demands and how hard it can be to take any time for ourselves, let alone to be our freest, best selves. I am also uniquely aware of how our lifestyles can block our energy, and I aver the time you spend with me will net you more focus, more energy, more resilience and vitality, more efficiency and serenity.
